Monday 16th August still Went to Slimming World and got weighed. Stayed the same this week which is ok. Got up at 7.30am and managed to finish painting the front room, also cleaned the kitchen and all before 8.30am!!!!!! Late afternoon we took Neil's
dad to go shopping in Morrisons and he wanted lunch out so we went to
Lattitude and I had a cheese and onion wholemeal sandwich with a few crisps
and crispy salad and a black coffee which is ok, I'd had a banana lunchtime.
Not hungry at all now but planning on having some lovely boiled eggs later
if hungry, or poached or scrambled. I realise that if I ate properly with all the exercise I am doing then I would probably have no problem at all losing weight! So am going to be as good as I can be cos I want to lose some lbs and feel better.
Ok, ok, I will not panic or think
Oppps I;ve blown it. No. I will move on am be gooder tomorrow ok. Neil
and the kids are in the studio tomorrow ALL day and it's just me on my
own which actually I hate, it's gonna be a long day. Will aim to take
Buster for a walk up to the village at some point tomorrow, will do us
both good. Have plenty of fresh fruit and veggies in and am going to eat
properly tomorrow. I have been saying to Neil this last few weeks that
I simply must give up or totally reduce the amount of sugary foods I am
eating (and takeaways and fatty foods etc). I so need to do this. I need
to stop comfort eating and stress eating and boredom eating if I can and
think twice before I go into the kitchen and eat especially when I am
not really hungry.

Tuesday 17th August SOme pics from yesterday Today (Tuesday 17th) nothing planned really cept some tidying up. Was on the computer for ages last night looking for pics of Llangwyfan Hospital (I was there for 8-9 weeks when I was 9 cos I had bad asthma and it was a 'chest hospital' in the North Wales countryside where they sent people to get fresh air and recover. And then I was there for 12 weeks when I was 9 or 10 when I first got diabetes. It was the most fabulous hospital. I was on the childrens ward (Block 7). The nurses used to take the kids for walks round the country lanes and there was a little hospital school that we all went to. Some time ago Neil, R and I went to see it, it is abandoned now and derelict, such a shame. Took Buster for a walk today up to Neil's dads,, got very wet in the rain coming home. Did loads of tidying up but got loads more to do tomorrow, ah well. Bit fed up but what's new eh.

Wednesday August 18th HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DORINDA I had a nice birthday, sisn't
do a great deal, but it was nice all the same. In the morning just did
a bit of tidying and went to the chiropodist in afternoon (fun eh!), got
the all clear there (they did a dopler on my feet and said no problems
at all, circulation ok). So nice and sunny in afternoon. My bestest friend
from work came round with a gorgeous pressy (a beautiful pair of earrings
and a lovely pair of pink slippers (pics soon). Got a cute dress from a charity shop (size 14) and wouldn't you know it, it won't even go over my hips, flipping heck....need to lose that 28 lbs before I can fit into that, what a pity cos it's so nice. Hmmmm.....will hang it on the wardrobe and make it my incentive! Pity I can't hang it in the kitchen really!!!!!!! Neil took Buster for a nice long walk this morning but I haven't done any walking today, will do some tomorrow in Cardiff. |
