Monday 2nd August to Sunday 8th August 2010

Monday 2nd August

Went and got weighed at Slimming World, had gained half a pound, not bad considering.
Feel v motivated now. Went for a nice wlak round the lake in the afternoon with Neil, R and Buster.

Some pics

On the beach part with me
Scrabbling up the rocks to get off the beach part
He wanted picking up here
Walking with R
Having a rest

We had to get him the next size up harness as he is growing quite quickly. He is a very clever little thing and can already sit when you tell him too and puts his paw up when you ask. When we say time to go in your box (his bed) he usually goes there too. Soon we will need a bigger bed though, the one we got is a rigid one and we might just get a material one this next time, more comfy for him.

 Tuesday 3rd August

Hmmmmm.....gotta watch that snacking. Ate very well till the evening.
Breakfast - 2 toast
Lunch - Cauliflower soup and fruit and yogurt
Tea - 2 small roast potatos, baked beans and low fat sausage
Throughout evening - 4 packs snak-a-jacks (caramel)

Did not do any exercise today either. Never mind, will have a better day tomorrow. Got to plan more, plan the meals I am going to eat, that we are going to eat as a family. Need to eat more lean meats and fish. Can't say I am a big meat eater but chicken and turkey are ok. Am not very adventerous with fish, like most white fish and yellow haddock that's about it.
Got a work colleagues wedding (evening) do in about 5 weeks, maybe six. How nice to be slimmer for that - all it takes is EFFORT!

Oooohhhh Buster got a new bed, a pretty big one too, looks like a room not a bed!!!!!!! He is happy in it, it's soft not rigid. He can stretch out in it with room to spare for toys and the odd old shoe etc. J came home with a goldfish, oh yeah and who's gotta look after it? Me of course. Poor Dave (goldfish) was placed in a vase and had barely any room to swim so of course we have had to fork out for a flippin tank, a starter tnak from tesco at £12.99. No wonder we got no money. Our money situation is desperate, really desperate and I am trying not to get mega depressed over it.
How the hell we are going to carry on like this I do not know.
Ok, moan over.

 Wed 4th August

Taking R and her friend to see Eclipse this afternoon.
Got so much to do (ie tidy house, clean kitchen, take Buster for a long walk, houver, clean, more cleaning and make tea). Wanna go to the cinema and get a big bag of sweeties and stuff my face with them, but won't.

Got a small amount of sweeties to nibble at the cinema! So that was ok. The film was ok, not as exciting as the other two I don't think.
Other than that have not done much else. Time for bed now as have work in the morning as per usual. Yippeeee I only have next week in then I am off for two weeks.
Got exactly (to this Saturday day, 7 weeks till a works do (wedding eve do) and boy do I want to be slimmer for that please so I can wear a nice dress and not feel fat and frumpy next to all the skinnys that will be there!!!!!!!

Have joined an online group that is showing my family tree (Bonney family tree) is very exciting seeing all the family members on there, some I know, some I have heard of, some I met when I was younger when dad took us to St Helens. I remember one of the family groups made crisps and they were called Bonneys Crisps I think?! Dad brought boxes of them home for us to eat! (Bit below from a web site

hi are you referring to Potato Crisps ?, Years back I recall hearing ,that a
family named Bonney
made first crisps. May I suggest you contact THE REPORTER paper ST HELENS
LANCS. they seem to have good record , of answering these Questions

Ah well, time for bed.

 Thursday 5th August

Ok day in work, long day though. Been fairly good on food. Neil did well this week and losy just over 2 lbs when he went to his weigh in at the NHS weight management centre, making 6 lbs loss so far in 3 weeks.

Buster in his new bed! As you can see there's plenty of room in it, room for slippers, shoes, socks and stuff!!!!!!! What more could a growing doggy want?! J and R took him for a walk tonight. Neil and I were going to go round the lake but I was too cold and tired and we had to go to the supermarket anyway,, so we went there.

We now have 2 goldfish - Barry and Paul (The Chuckle Brothers) - I just got used to calling the other one Dave too.
