Monday 7th June

We have a few disagreements over what to call the puppy. J wants Buster but Neil, R and I are not so keen on that one. We like Morty. HHmmmmmm........

Weight = 10 st 8.5 lbs (148.5 lbs)
Lbs Lost/Gained = STAYED THE SAME
Lbs lost so far = 5
Lbs to lose = 28 ish

I feel as though I am going round in circles with my weight loss - as in GETTING NOWHERE FAST. Damn! I haven't done any exercise this last week and have eaten not so well. I am sure to have a gain, in fact I know I have gained. Neil gained 4 lbs this week. What are we like!?

Whoo hoo I stayed the same, which is brill cos I did eat stuff I shouldn't have last week, well put it this way, I went over my syns.
Going to have a BRILLIANT week, going to be very good I am.

Judith just has 2 lbs to lose then she will have lost 3 stone (42 lbs) how GREAT is that! I need to take a leaf out of her book.

Apart from Slimming World this morning and taking Buster (yes we have gone back to calling him Buster) out in the garden, oh and cooking a shepherds pie for tea, well I have done nothing else. Boack to work tomorrow (OH NO)

 Wed 9th June 2010

Doing fairly ok on diet plan. DId have a craving for hot salty chips last night. Neil got deom and I ate half a bag and 2 slices of bread. Then tonight I wanted some chocolate so I had a few treat size Twirls, well ok, a few more than a few but still, they were only treat sized!!!!!
Then wasn't actually hungry at teatime so only had a few slices of lerdammer (or however you spell it) light cheese with some sweetcorn relish which was very nice. Got 4 big boxes of strawberries for tomorrow, yummy!

Neil's mum is going into a nursing home tomorrow, they finally made a decision (the Social Services) and agreed to fund it. I am hoping she settles well and that Neil's dad begins to relax and improve a little healthwise.

I am doing a sponsored walk with Slimming World on 26th June,the money raised is going to the NSPCC (National Society for The Prevention of Cruelty to Children.) I am so looking forward to doing the walk, we will be walking for just an hour, but walking as fast and as far as we can I think? (!)

Buster looked so cute tonight, lying on the couch fast asleep in the middle of a load of books and bags and stuff - honestly how he was comfy I do not know! He wanted to lie there rather than in his new bed (box). Sometimes he has a little whimper and we know he just needs cuddles. Why do pup[ies always have 'toast' breathe?????

Time for bed. I will try and read a chapter of my book Light as a Feather (story about weight loss), but it usually only takes a few pages and I fall asleep!!!!!!

Yesterday

Did okish on food today. Could eat a ton of chocolate but didn't! Work was hectic. Fell asleep a bit in the early evening. Nothing on telly at all tonight so Neil and I just chatted and moaned about this and that. Cant believe it's almost midnight now. Last day in work tomorrow - got a LOAD of cleaning and tidying up to do at the weekend. Also got to go clothes shopping for Mother in Law on Saturday morning as she needs new clothes.YIKES - Lumpy bumpy FAT. Also GROSS pjamas or what!

Getting weighed at work in the morning. Hope I am less on the scales. The nurse who weighs me has lost 3 lbs this week (grrrr.......). Can't remembe ever losing 3 lbs in one go. IF I have a GOOD week with plenty of exercise and eat right - then well who knows I could have a GOOD decent weight loss. Can't say in all honesty I am trying that hard at the moment though.

 SATURDAY 12th JUNE

Lovely sunny day out today, wish I had made more use of it. Went shopping in the morning for clothes for mother in law, was very pleased with what I managed to get. Went to see mother in law in the nurding home, she looked settles=d, half asleep in her comfy chair. Is a litttle upsetting for father in law as she does not communicate with him or look at anyone really. The home feels very nice and the staff are nice too which is a comfort.

Took father in law onto the rpom and got him an ice-cream, perhaps when he is feeling more up to it (bit better) he will go for little walks.

Watched St Trinians 2 in the late afternoon with R which was fun. Got tons of cleaning to do tomorrow, will try and go out for a walk too if nice out. I cannot wait to take Buster out. He is enjoying going in the garden though (is a bit gross when having to scoop up his poop though!). If you wanna diet - think doggy poo!!!!!!!

Things I have eaten this last week that I should have avoided!


Half bag of chips ( I was depserate for some salty hot chips)
Packet of crisps (went with my salad and ham baguette)
Some chocolate (I NEEDED chocolate)
Toffee popcorn (last night cos I bought it in Blockbuster when choosing a video to rent - we got a Sandra Bullock film All About Steve!)
2 small sausage rolls (had to try them not had any in AGES)
Tiny piece pizza (had to try it ccos R and her friend were having it for tea Friday night)

 

 Sunday 13th June

Rain and more rain. Cleaned and tidied the kitchen. Took most of the day really.

Neil and I are going to go on the treadmill EVERY night and give it a few months and if we do not make as much use of it as we intended then I am going to sell it. In fact it is almost certain we will selll it as I want that part of the front room back.

Anyway tonight I did

20 minutes at 3 and Neil did
15 minutes at 3

OK so 3 is a VERY slow speed but considering we are MEGA unfit, it is best to start SLOW and get faster as we go on. So this week is all doing at the speed of 3 - but will increase the time to half an hour then next week do 3.5, the following week 4 and the week after that 4.5 and so on.

Was bad tonight and had a late cheese sandwich with pickle and now I have indigestion right before I am getting into bed. My sister is popping here tomorrow to see the puppy. Buster has been doing great, though is inclined to try and bite my ankles. Am going to slimming world in the morning, I have no idea if I have lost any weight his week, I do so hope I have, though looking back on all the stuff I have snacked on, well that is not so good. Tomorrow is a new day and a good start.
