Monday 22nd Feb to Sunday 28th Feb 2010

Tuesday 23rd Feb 2010

Well I went and got weighewd at Slimming World and lo and behold I had gained a pound YET AGAIN. SO I was very cross with myself. I either have to make an effort to eat properly and healthily or I stop going and wasting my money. I have no intention though of giving up and stopping going as I know it can help me lose the lbs - healthily.
I stayed the same on my scales at home and Neil had gained a lb.

Work was fine today. It has snowed some today but not much, it is very cold though.

 Wed 24th Feb 2010

I did 2 hours dancing tonight which was good. Meant to not have any food when I got home but we were watching food programmes and I got hungry so had some toast, which is ok. What have I eaten today????

Breakfast - 2 weetabix and skim milk (B+A)
Lunch - Egg mayo sandwich with salad and a few crisps (4 syns)(B)
Evening - a banana and 1 and a half slices toast (? Syns)

Doesn't look like I ate a lot at all does it???? But well, I guess I have gone over the 'syns' allowance for today which I am not meant to do. WIll aim to do better tomorrow is all I can say!!!!!!!

 Thursday 25th Feb 2010

WHOOO HOOOOO J passed his driving test!!!! I am so pleased for him.

Work was ok, I was kinda tired by the end of the day though. Will I have the energy to go on the treadmill tonight??/ I doubt it

What have I eaten today - does anyone really want to know!?
Breakfast - 1 weetabix and skim milk and banana
Lunch - Mixed salad and a small wholemeal roll
Anoon - Ok 4 or was it 8 (hmmmm.........) sweets (I was hypo initially)
Tea - Mince and potatoe and veg, and a banana

That is all so far, shoulda not had the sweets but EVERYONE was eating them and well, I just had to have some.!

What have I got planned the next few days? Well tomorrow is work as per usual. Tomorrow night I am off dancing for 2 hours as per usual. Saturday night I am off out on a night out to Liverpool with 3 people from work. That's about it really so far. Am trying (well, I am a little bit) to be as good as I can on diet plan. Not helped by me feeling very fat and bloated, worse luck. Am now wondering what on earth can I wear to go out Saturday night????? ARGHHHHHHHHH

11.30pm and I can't get to sleep cos I had a snooze earlier (on the couch), damn. Might try and read for a bit? Am getting weighed in the morning at work (arghghghg). NEED to get on that treadmill as it is just a waste of space in the front room if Neil and I don't use it. I think we give it 6 months and if we have not used it much in that time then I want the space back in my living room. Pity there is nowhere else to put it (as we don't have a garage or spare room).

Sunday 28th Feb 2010

Had a great night out in Liverpool last night with people from work. 3 of us went to Nandos first for something to eat and then we met the others in Lennons Bar. Wow there was loads of people out in Liverpool, it was so busy.
Group pic of us all.
At the end of the night we all had a dance before we had to leave to get the bus home. We called at a chippy but only 2 of us got food (I was not one of them - good eh!). It was a really nice night and we all had such a laugh. I think the best part was the dancing at the end and we were in our coats then too! We were going to go onto another pub but got settled here and decided not to go on to anywhere else. We didn't have a lot to eat in Nandos, it was nice there. I had chicken pitta with fries. J and his girlfriend go there a lot so we decided to go there.
Review of Lennons Bar
The look: It has a ground floor and a basement. The lower drinking level is fairly cramped and dark and there is a large bar and some seating for drinkers who want to relax while supping a pint.

With its low ceiling and cave-like appearance the bar is popular with fans of the Beatles who want to relive the club scenes of the Fab Four in the 1960s.

If you drink upstairs you will find it more modern and stylish, with its metal tables and chairs. Both rooms are decorated with pictures of the Beatles and 60s memorabilia. There are even some of John Lennon's original drawings on the walls downstairs.

What to wear: There's no dress code at all and, unlike some of the other bars in Mathew Street where you have to wear trousers and smart shoes to get in, you can be as casual as you like.

So trainers and jeans are the norm, although people do make more of an effort at the weekend so they can get in at other bars in the city centre.

Who goes there? Tourists and regulars. The bar's name and location attracts enormous interest from people who want to reminisce about the days when Liverpool's music scene ruled the world.

Lennon's has been open for more than a decade

On a weekday you will find the bar packed with tourists taking the weight off their feet.

The sound: Most of the songs coming from the sound system in are generally by the Beatles, although there are other bands from the 60s and 70s played.

Local bands also play at the bar and usually do a range of Beatles covers and other hits from the 60s era.

Usually on Fridays and Saturdays, a DJ plays more of the same, although he mixes it up with some more modern tunes as well.

The atmosphere: Everyone who drinks there shares a love of the Beatles, so it is easy to get talking to complete strangers - making it the perfect bar to pop in to either on your own or with friends.

The atmosphere is always friendly and lively

Neil, J and R have been at the recording studio all day today and I have been very lazy and done bugger all. Well apart from a little more work on R's house that I built for her for school.
It is 7pm and they should be home soon. It's been a quiet day. I am going to Slimming World in the morning and will hopefully get more motivated to do better, I must stay to the meeting. Neil is going to do Slim Fast for a few weeks, he has done this before and done ok on it - we shall see.
