MONDAY 8th FEBRUARY 2010

Woke up with a splitting headache, sore throat and feeling yuck. Managed to hop on the scales at home (oh dear)
Weight - 10 st 8 lbs (148 lbs)
Gain - 2 lbs

Neil - Weight - 19 st 11 lbs
Gain - 1 lbs

Am not going to slimming world today. Not going to do much of anything today except keep warm and take paracetamol to get rid of my headache.

Well it's almost midnight and all I have done is watch tv (various programmes). Neil did half an hour on the treadmill , I managed 10 minutes but felt crappy so stopped. Work tomorrow as per usual, ah well.

 Tuesday 9th February 2010

Today I will
Eat healthier
DO SOME exercise

YEAH it's 9.30pm. I did half an hour on the wii fit doing the free step whilst watching a diet programme! Neil did half an hour on the treadmill. Ate ok today really. MAde a beany shepherds pie (pity only me will eat it).
Aduki beans
Rice
Carrots, onion and celery
Tom puree, stock, mixed herbs
Cooked then topped with mash and baked -------- YUMMY for tomorrows lunch - maybe not for evening meal as have dancing tomorrow night and just in case the beans give me WIND, is not a good idea to have the meal right before the dancing!

 Thursday 11th Feb 2010

Been very good the last few nights and done half hours on the treadmill and wii fit (free step).

Got my curtain for the kitchen window, and well................can't decide whether I like it or HATE it????? It's not how I imagined it would look. I dunno, I think it looks a bit chav - like.????
I think I will have to leave it for a few weeks and decide what I think of it, see if it will grow on me? I am inclined to, take it down at the moment!

I don't know really what I want on the window? What colour? Would blinds look better (the vertical ones)? Should I just stick to plain cream or white ones? Suggestions anyone???????????
I have another window too but this is more awkward to dress as it is right next to the back door.

I'll take a pic in the daylight tomorrow so you can see it better.

Well R broke up from school today for a week, J breaks up tomorrow. No plans for next week as such so far. Maybe we can all get some walking done, I fancy a few days out doing LONG walks (ie more than 4 miles).

Getting weighed in work in the morning as usual, wonder if I have lost any?????? I am paying in my £2 a week and will get it all back when I reach goal!!!!! Or rather a wight I want to be (so that's 28 lbs to lose thank you very much!).

 Sat 13th Feb 2010

Taking R and a friend from school (from junior school who she has not seen for ages - a buy) to see Percy Jackson (The Lightening Thief) at the cinema. Her and H (the boy) read all the Percy Jackson books when in junior school, they used to spend hours discussing them and re-reading them. So when this Percy Jackson film just came out we knew just who to invite along!

Did 2 hours dancing last night. I don't want to talk about my weigh in at work yesterday! OK 2 lbs.

How bad is that! 2 lbs on of course. Ah well............and this last week I did over 4 and a half hour of exercise (wii fit, treadmill and dancing). YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH am off for a week now!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is NEil's dads birthday today he is 80. We are popping up there later (after cinema) and then doing a small buffett tomorrow for him and Marie (Neils mum). They have both gone out for a meal to the village today (lunch) which is nice. It is very difficult to get Marie too and from places as she can barely walk unaided. We keep trting to persuade her to get a wheelchair but she wont. She has lots of falls unfortunately.

Well I had bvetter go get ready to go to the cinema (no popcorn for me, just a coffee)!

Well the film was GREAT - I really enjoyed it. I had a nice coffee whilst watching the film and some love heart sweeties! I often much more enjoy the films aimed at younger kids and teens than the adult films - it was good.

Do you like the pic I did - I was bored!!!!!!! Might frame it, might bin it, dunno?

The window in the daytime with sunshine! Very yellow!!!!

The kitchen seems cosier now it's painted yellow - roll on the summer!!!!!!

Still no luck for Neil getting a job. He is getting quite depressed. On the plus side he is going to be doing an at home Microsoft Certified Professional course with exams at the end of it (in vb.net) which will hopefully help his job chances. All the jobs are asking for this type of qualification........they are all asking for .net qualifications. We are kinda all holidng it together but it is starting to affect us all. You cannot believe the number of forms you have to fill in for unemployment benefit and then you are not entitled to very much for the 1st 6 months. There's millions of bloody forms to fill in. Yes, I am working (26 hrs a week, cannot get more) but the pay is pretty low, above minimum wage but not great. Still, it is a job and is helping us pay the bills at the moment. Am not going to moan, but I so hope Neil gets a job soon, for him to feel better and happier.

Got PMT, great eh! That's all I need. Well, am going to have glass of wine tonight, I don't care about the diet (well, I do but......). I made a lovely low fat spag bol earlier and we all had some sugar free jelly (raspberry flavour). Not exactly following the SW plan but I am going to the meeting on Monday to get re-motivated. Too tired to go on treadmill tonight but we ARE going for a nice long walk tomorrow -we are cos I said so!!!!!!!!!!!

 Valentines Day 2010

Feb 14th

Awwwwwwww J took his girlfriend (J) to a restuarant tonight - a VERY expensive meal it was. Like £60 for the 2 of them (argggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg). He said it was very posh there but lovely and the people very nice. WOW that is one expensive meal for 2 young people. It was a special Valentines set menu - hence the set cost which involved Champagne (which they did not have as neither of them drink at all). It sounded lovely though, the meal and the evening. They went to The Penninsula it was called.

As J said, the posher the restuarant, the less food you get!!!!!! I think it is nice that they are into dining and that they try different places, but I think they ought to start watching the £££££££.!!!!!!!!! I am glad they had such a nice evening though.

RIGHT

Tomorrow am back to Slimming World - back on track and am going to get slimming for my money (as it costs me each week - if I don't get losing these pesky pounds then I will have to stop going as it is then money for nothing.
