MY DIABETES

I developed diabetes in 1973 (I was 9 years old). I got quite sick in school
and was sent home one day very ill. Eventually after going into a semi-coma it was
discovered I was diabetic.
I have now been on insulin for 37 years
My diabetes is not alwasy as well controlled as it should be, in fact in recent years
my hba1c has averaged 8.6 in past tests (I need to change this)
I take ace inhibitors to protect my kidneys.
I am on statins
I am on levemir and novorapid at present.
I follow the DAFNE regime
