History Of Me
Well...I was born weighing just 2 and a half pounds
I had asthma untill I was 9 years old, quite bad, spent 10 weeks in a 'chest' hospital and had inhalers all over the place (friends, family houses etc)
When I was 10 years old I got IDDM (Insulin dependant diabetes)
I always wanted to be a nurse when I was younger
I have 3 sisters (all younger than me)
Left school at 16 then did a 2 year pre-nursing course at college (Kelsterton)
Jobs I have done over the years - Summer Playscheme Worker/Care-Assistant/Neighbourhood Teamworker/Chalet Maid/Shop Assistant/Clerical Worker
Hobbies I had when in my Teens - let me think....I loved reading, I wrote hundreds and hundreds of poems (was very good at rhyming) going to disco's (occasionally), I liked the music but never felt comfy with all the people. I was totally mad on Barry Manilow
When I was in my early 20's I went on holiday to Malta and Portugal, I loved Malta.
In my late 20's I went to college againand did a 2 year Diploma in Psychology and Sociology.Coleg Harlech where I studies (lived) for 2 years
Late 20's.....after college didn't know what to do with myselfso to stop mum from nagging I went on a 1 year Office Admin course! Except............I only did 6 months because...............
I met my husband (he was the Computer Trainer!!!!!!)....he proposed after only 1 week of knowing me! I said YES.
AND THAT'S WHEN MY WEIGHT PROBLEMS BEGAN....Sorry Neil!

Had 2 children Then gained LOADS of weight Did various voluntary work then in I joined Slimming World.......lost my weight. Went back to college and got NVQ3 Admin certificate. am doing ECDL(got my ECDL 2005). Now doing voluntary work at a local hospital.......and that is the story so far

Got my ECDL Aug 2004

I have got a job at my local hospital (as an Ophthalmic Technician) - am being trained for this. I am thrilled to have gotten this job, the people in the Eye Department are a lovely bunch of people

 

Been in my job almost 4 years now (Dec 2008) and I really enjoy it
